It started in the car, beatboxing with his mom. Then the recorder, the guitar, the slide trombone: if it makes a sound, Iggy can play it. Since 2002, from the San Antonio underground rave scene to festival stages across the Midwest, he has blended fire poi with heart-pounding bass.
Then came family court. It nearly broke him, until he pulled his dusty turntables back out and the music pulled him out of the darkness. He turned the suffering into lyrics, and that became Court House: court-inspired lyrics, bagpipe leads and heart-pounding bass that fill a dance floor while helping people understand what so many families are going through.
His mission: no parent should have to fight for their children. Real change, for his own kids and for all kids.
